(Reuters) - Warren Buffett has overtaken Bill Gates to become the richest American in the Forbes 400 list, Bloomberg said, citing a recalculated list to be published later this month.

The magazine, in its October 27 issue, recalculates the effect of September’s financial news on the wealthiest Americans, those who make up its Forbes 400 list, the agency said.

The Berkshire Hathaway Inc chairman added $8 billion to his net worth in a 33-day period, August 29 to October 1, to reach $58 billion, the agency said, citing the magazine.

Buffett overtook the Microsoft Corp co-founder, whose net worth declined $1.5 billion to $55.5 billion during the 33-day period, the agency said.

Bill Gates had been number 1 on the Forbes list for 15 consecutive years, the agency said.

Las Vegas Sands Corp Chief Executive Sheldon Adelson’s net worth declined $4 billion during the period, the steepest drop among Americans who lost $1 billion or more during the credit crisis, the agency said.

Forbes could not be immediately reached by Reuters.

last night was the gig at the blender theatre. twas well fun and had been sold out for a month before the show. Kids are crazy in NYC i finished DJing my set and looked out into the crowd to see mad 13 yr olds making out, fighting, all of them soo drunk/rolling/high that they couldn’t even think straight. Shit was weird. I felt like i was watching kids or something.

Played our set and I headed out to see Libby who I befriended in Nashville but now lives in Harlem (quite the switcharoo I know). She had some of her sister Lola’s friends running around NYC with her and it made me even more excited to see Lola and her together this weekend.

Then I stopped by beatrice to see pegleg harry and some other homies. Ran into Mr. Reza the Arab Parrot, seems the parrot’s been out in nyc for like a month and is loving it. In case you haven’t definitely do check out his blog TheArabParrot.com.

tonight i’m in dirty jersey spinning at Bliss. It bumps so hard in there i’m playing bassssy ch00nz. Can’t wait.

In case some of you don’t know i’m a huge Duke fan. Ever since I was a kid I loved me some Dukies. Grant Hill/ Trajan Langdon/ Jay Williams/ Shane Battier and everyone inbetween. I love em.

Today I balled on cameron indoor.

So ill. So ill. It was really only for a second cuz they had a volleyball tournament coming in. But me, Tyga, Shwayze, Cisco, Lo, Arc, C, Boo, Gata and Q all balled so harrrrrrd for like 3 full court games. We’re so out of shape its kind of hilarious though. We all had to play this show tonight on some heavy legs but shit was soo much fun.

I also went to the student store and spent 200$ on merchandise. I even got a duke carabiner and keychain. So hyped.

This man is a genius and should be pardoned of his crime. Amazing. Innertubes, pepper spray, craigslist, this sounds like it couldve been in the erotic services section. But alas it’s much better than anything 300 roses could afford you.

MONROE, Wash. – In a move that could be right out of a Hollywood movie, a brazen crook apparently used a Craigslist ad to hire a dozen unsuspecting decoys to help him make his getaway following a robbery outside a bank on Tuesday. He then made his escape in an inner tube on the Skykomish River.

The robbery happened about 11 a.m. on an armored truck guard at a Bank of America branch.

“He was wearing a dust mask, a particle mask. At first I thought it might be a surgical mask. I still didn’t think anything was wrong, just unusual. Then I noticed he had a pump sprayer,” said Mitch Ruth, who had looked out his office window and noticed the man walking into the bank.

The robber sprayed the guard with pepper spray, grabbed a bag of money the guard was carrying and ran about 100 yards to the creek that runs into the Skykomish River, shedding clothes as he ran.

But apparently, the robber had planned ahead. In case anyone was hot on his trail, he had at least a dozen unsuspecting decoys waiting nearby, which he recruited on Craigslist.

I’m on the slowest wifi ever in Mobile, Alabama. I don’t think I’ve ever been here before, interesting place.

After walking around by the club for an hour i’m left to chilling in my hotel room. I found this little gem via the hllrbrd and i’ve watched the first 10 seconds about 30 times because it won’t finish loading. That little laptop voice is kind of hilarious.
